What is Thai Massage?
Thai Massage is a form of bodywork developed in Thailand, closely associated with the Ayurvedic sciences of India. It is known for its restorative and energizing effects. Thai Massage distinguishes itself from other forms of massage by its multifaceted use of acupressure, stretching, reflexology, joint mobilization, and assisted yoga poses.
Some of its benefits include:
Increased physical energy, mental clarity and calm
Recovery from physical trauma injuries and
Elimination of stress and emotional blocks
Deeper more restorative sleep
Improved circulation and oxygenation of the brain, aiding in reduction of headaches and migraines
Improved flexibility and range of motion, contributing to reduced risk of injury
A Thai massage session creates a sense of opening and balance in the body, mind, and subtle energy fields. While other forms of massage can often make recipients feel fatigued and worn out afterwards, Thai massage gives recipients an awake, energized and centered feeling in the hours, days and weeks to follow. Thai massage also teaches the body how to release and let go of tension. It contributes to long term shifts in the body's ability to relax and de-stress, helping it drop into a deep and natural state of tranquility.

Puts the the body in a series of yoga-like positions and uses thumbing along the body's main energy pathways
My Approach
I believe the body is the most direct doorway into our essential core energy. The body provides us with a direct experience to interact with at any given moment. The mind can run in circles, and our sense of center can be elusive, especially in New York. But opening the energy of the body and listening to its intuitive wisdom is a direct way to help us open the secrets to our health and peace of mind, and connect to our life experience in a deeper way.
Body, mind and spirit are all interconnected. By restoring the body's energy flow we can affect the mind and the spirit in profound ways. Often times emotional and psychological material arises during sessions, which is just as important as the body work itself. I believe a true healer must be ready and able to address all these aspects and meet their patient wherever they are. I have devoted my life to cultivating this space. In this space, under my care, clients can find open, release and activate their own intuitive healing process.
