Our evening will feature:
Partners massage workshop presented by Ariel Figueroa
Seasonal winter meal and hands-on chocolate truffle making workshop created by Shayna Schmidt of the Weighted Plate and her partner Chef Joe Ventricelli.
Touch and taste are two of our most powerful and intimate senses. Nourishing and delicious food and massage are vehicles that allow us to experience these senses by creating healing, sensuality and connection to each other.
In this workshop, presented by Ariel Figueroa of Ariel Healing Arts, we will learn some simple and incredibly effective techniques taken from both Eastern and Western massage traditions and practice them with our partners. After our massage session, we will have a dinner and chocolate truffle making workshop presented by Shayna Schmidt, co-founder of Weighted Plate and her partner Chef Joe Ventricelli.

We often feel the need for a special occasion to slow down and care for ourselves and our partners. But regular acts of love and intimacy are actually essential for our health. Sharing them with a partner is one of the best, easiest and most pleasurable ways we can experience the physical, psychological and emotional benefits of touch, nourishing food... and handmade chocolate truffles (real talk). Take this Valentine’s Day as an opportunity to learn techniques that you can use and receive whenever you need!
